ARPS
The panel of 15 monochrome prints with which I gained my Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (Visual Art - Pictorial) in 1996. They are seen here in the format of 3 rows of 5 images as presented to the judging panel. They were all printed by myself the old fashioned way (silver coated paper in the wet darkroom). There is no statement of intent as these were not permitted at the time.
From the RPS Distinctions Criteria: "The Associateship (ARPS) requires a high standard of technical competence and evidence of creative ability. Complete technical control will have produced quality which is entirely fit for the intended purpose. There will be a consistency in the work which will also make a statement of a strong personal style. A high standard of presentation is expected."
